In this brief article I express my sincere thanks to everyone who has read my palaeontological blog posts as well as share more about how well Jurassic Finds has done this year.
4,037 readers! What an achievement! ‘Thank You’ everyone for helping Jurassic Finds reach this amazing milestone! I never expected the blog to be as successful as it has been this year. When I started Jurassic Finds back in January I knew I wanted the blog to succeed, I wanted to make sure I could see the blog through and continue to develop it year on year.
It has been a fantastic outlet for me to be able to share my passion for palaeontology with others, whilst helping me to hone my science writing skills and learn more about the latest palaeontological discoveries. I feel like I have really grown in my scientific communication this year through Jurassic Finds. It has really helped me, not only in my palaeontological research which is ongoing but also in pushing myself to develop my writing skills further, most recently through taking on a writing role at The Jurassic Park Podcast.
The blog has gotten a lot of help which I really appreciate. I must say a big ‘Thank You’ to everyone who has liked, shared and retweeted my articles on Facebook, Twitter and elsewhere, most notably within the Jurassic Park fan community. I must also say a big ‘Thank You’ to those at Chasmosaurs.com who have featured my articles in their Dinoblogosphere section of their website.
I will be continuing to cover the latest palaeontological discoveries in 2019 and cannot wait to see what new, exciting fossil discoveries the new year will bring. You can look forward to more articles from me then!
I hope everyone has a fantastic Christmas and New Year!
